GVT PRICE MATCH POLICY
 

If you find an identical item in stock at a competitor’s store or catalog, GVT will match that “everyday” price on our in-stock item.  Simply provide us proof of pricing.

Our price guarantee does not include items already priced at the manufacture's lowest acceptable pricing. This policy applies to new in-stock merchandise.   Auction sites, international websites, going out of business sale, misprints, discontinued, special order and demo/shop worn merchandise is not included for comparison.  GVT reserves the right to verify price/stock of the competitor.  Pricing must include tax, shipping, minimum order fee,handling or other comparable charges and all items must be available at same company.  GVT reserves the right to adjust this policy.

RETURN POLICY
 

Your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee Return Policy:
We stand behind each item we sell.  If you are not satisfied (for any reason!) return the product, at your expense, within  30 days in new condition, and in the undamaged original box, and we will replace or exchange the item, your choice! Items returned after 30 days are eligible for an account credit only. Returns will not be accepted after the 60 days.

 

When Returning Any Product: (Except Saddles and Clearance –See Below)

  • Please return the product in the new condition it was sent in.

  • Please return the product within 30 days for exchange or on account in the original, unmarked box or package it came in, 31-60 days for account credit.

  • Please include your name, address, telephone# and email address.

  • Please include instructions for exchange (Color/Size etc.)

  • If defective item – Please call our 866-316-1667 or 845-258-3564 during store hours to let us know why you are returning the product.

 

WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR RETURN IF:

  • If it is an undergarment such as a Fits Wunderbreech or Back On Track Boxer Shorts

  • The item is used, dirty or damaged or smells like horses. We recommend a bed sheet or pillow case be used when trying on horse and dog blankets.  Blankets returned with dirt and horse hair or dog hair on them will not be an acceptable return.

  • The item does not have all packaging and tags intact.

  • The item is not properly packaged if mailed.  For example boot and helmet boxes MUST be placed inside another box before returning.  Items returned in only their box/package with no outer packaging will be charged a 20% restocking fee.  If the item is damaged in transit due to improper packaging, no return will not be accepted.

  • Embroidered or Engraved items

  • Custom Special Order (Ex. Boots/ Blankets, saddle pads etc.)

  • Special Color and Sizes outside of standard sizes

  • Items used in horse’s mouth like Bits are not returnable

  • Item is returned outside our return period – 60 days for most items, 30 days for new saddles/refunds and 7 days for used and demo saddles.

  • Free gifts With Purchases:  If you fail to return any free gifts that came with an item, the regular retail price of the non-returned gifts will be deducted from your refund.

  • Warranty Returns: If you believe your item is defective, please contact us before returning for instructions.  Please note that most horse items such as bridles, blankets and halters are not warranted against breakage or rips.  If you return an item for a warranty issue and the manufacturer believes that no defect was present, you will be responsible for return shipping to you and no refund will be issued.  We follow the manufacturer’s guidelines as to whether the defective item is replaced, repaired or refunded.

  • Restocking Fees:  New and Demo saddles are charged a $ 35.00 restocking fee.  Tall boots are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Mis-Ships: If we made an error in your order, we will pay return shipping of the product.  Please contact us for instructions.

  • Refund Time:  Expect to see your refund 7 to 10 days after we receive your item.

 

HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY
 

GVT has extended the industry standard return time from 30 days to 60 DAYS.  In order to avoid the holiday Rush, we put our holiday return policy into effect November 1st.  Our return policy time period starts on December 25th. Saddles normally must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Under the holiday return policy, you can buy a new saddle in November, and not have to return it until 30 days after December 25th.  All other items are 60 days after December 25th.  Remember demo and used saddles do not qualify!
In order to take advantage of the holiday return policy, you MUST put in the comment field at checkout that order is a “HOLIDAY GIFT”.

 

SALES TAX
 

NO TAX will be charged on any order from any other State or Country, except NY.  New York Sales Tax is 8.125%, Clothing is 4.125%

 

SHIPPING POLICY

 

Orders over $ 75.00 ship via UPS ground FREE. For FREE Shipping order must:

  • Be Over $ 75.00 excluding tax if applicable

  • Not contain supplements or liquids

  • Not contain a used saddle

  • Does not contain an oversized item such as a mounting block or trunk

  • Not contain any whips over 40 inches

  • Is being shipped by either UPS ground or Priority Mail (Small Items) to the continental US address (Free shipping does not apply to any item going to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or Canada)

 

Please note that we require signature confirmation on all orders over $ 500.  If you want to waive this requirement, please email us at horse@greenvalleytack.com with your order number and that you assume full responsibility if the package is lost or stolen.

SADDLE TRIAL POLICY
 

IMPORTANT NOTE: When you receive your saddle, please inspect the packaging and the saddle for any damage that could have been sustained during shipment.  If you feel the saddle was damaged in any way during its shipment to you, you must SAVE ALL PACKAGING, TAKE A PHOTO OF DAMAGE and CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY at 866-316-1667.

  • Payment

 

The Full cost of the saddle is charged to the customer’s credit card before shipping.

  • Shipping Costs

 

New and Demo saddles ship to customer at NO CHARGE.  However, if the saddle is returned, a $ 35.00 charge is assessed – this is to cover our costs of shipping the saddle to you.  Customers must pay all shipping fees (to and from) for consignment saddles.  Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges on all saddles.

  • Trial Period and Saddle Usage – NEW Saddles

 

For NEW saddles, the customer has thirty (30) days upon receipt of the saddle(s) to determine whether or not he or she is keeping the saddle.  If the saddle is not returned within the time period, the saddle is considered sold and is non-returnable.  New saddles must be returned in new condition with all tags.  Any saddle wear or marks will reduce your refund by at least 10%.  All returned new saddles will be charged a $ 35.00 fee.

  • Trial Period and Saddle Usage – Consignment (Used Saddles)

 

All CONSIGMENT saddles must be returned in 7 days (saddle must be back in mail within 7 days of receipt). If the saddle is not returned within the time period, the saddle is considered sold and is non-returnable.  Saddles may be girthed up and ridden in.  However, saddle should be returned in basically the same condition it was received.  Customer pays shipping on consignment saddles to and from our store, so no fee is applied when the saddle is returned.

 

NEW PRODUCT REQUEST


If there is a great product we are missing; we want to know about it!  While we may not offer the product you are looking for at this time, please go ahead a put in a request for it.  We review customer requests when sourcing new products and will be sure to contact you if and when it becomes available through us.   Please include the following in your request:

  • Product name

  • Manufacture’s Name

  • Short Product Description

  • Your name

  • Your Email Address

  • Your Phone number (if you want to)

 

OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS


At GVT we work hard to keep all of our products that we carry in stock! However, from time to time products become Out Of Stock due to a variety of circumstances.  Some items are so popular they just fly off the shelves!  We appreciate your patience in these situations. Out of stock items can be purchased at any time, delivery will just be delayed until the item is back in stock. 
 In a rare instance where a product has become Out Of Stock after you ordered it online, a GVT representative will contact you via phone or email to explain the Out Of Stock status and expected arrival date.
You are welcome to cancel an Out Of Stock item any time, as long as it has not shipped from our store.  You MUST  contact us via phone.  If the item has not yet shipped, we will simply refund you.

We accept all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) as well as Debit Cards, checks or money orders, Venmo and Paypal for payment.  Please note if you choose to pay by check, we will not ship your order until your check clears.
